Day 4

14 02 2011

Dance day 3
Ingatestone - Braintree

An early start and walk through Hainault forest. Today we go solo with all our kit and have an extra 5 miles to catch up as we decided to rest yesterday and do two days journey in one today. Let the games begin!

Carrying a lot of extra weight today brought back vivid images of the Camino de Santiago!
After playing the drum for 5 hours my rhythm has improved considerably.
By the end of the day my feet are thoroughly blistered but I expect nothing less...
Big shout out to Susanne and Serge for their warm welcome to Braintree!
(Adam)

Had to ride with all my kit today. The extra weight did not do my nether regions any favours! But thanks to our wonderful hosts Susanne and Serge all was forgotten rather quickly. They cooked us a lovely meal and we shared  some lovely stories! Big Love x x x

Today I stuck a picture of a lion to my hat!

I lost one of my hankies as we took the train to get back to Ingatestone, so I had to by some linen cloth from the DIY store and get Kennadys hairdressers to cut my some new hankies. Sunshine made the day! Hard to move my arms dancing into Braintree after fifteen miles dancing with a pack on my back but i somehow managed to flail them about. Best supper since the trip began thanks to our kind hosts. Also have to shout out the warm welcome and discount we got from Pam at St Annes Castle pub in Great Notley. Legs still seem to be working?
(Tom)

Looking forward to a rest tomorrow!!
